Welcome to Blumfield Township!

Blumfield Township was settled by German emigrants in 1850. The settlement of Blumfield was founded on the banks of the Chebygan Creek by George F. Veenfliet and Carl Post. In 1853, Blumfield Township, named after Ropert Blum, was officially organized.

Today, Blumfield Township is home to approximately 2000 people. Frankenmuth and Reese School Districts serve the residents.

The Township Office is located at 1175 W. Vassar Rd and is open by appointment only. Residents needing local government assistance are encouraged to contact one of the Township Board members, who are there to serve you.
