Absentee Ballots

Absentee Ballots MUST be requested in writing.

Prop 20-2 instituted a Permanent Mail Ballot list. Voters can decide to be placed on the Permanent Absentee Ballot List to have an absentee ballot for all local, state, and federal elections mailed to you.

You may still request Absentee Ballots for individual elections by filling out the Absentee Ballot Request Forms and delivering it to the Township Hall or you can fill out an Online Absentee Ballot Request. Requests to have an absentee voter ballot mailed to you must be received no later than 4 p.m. the Friday before the election, by law. It is advisable to make that request no later than the Tuesday before the election to ensure delivery of the ballot.

Blumfield Township does not have regular office hours. You may request an appointment to obtain your absentee ballot in person by contacting the Clerk at (989) 652-2778 or via email at blumclerk@speednetllc.com

The Clerk will be available at the Township Office the Saturday before the Election from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Absentee Ballots MUST be returned via US Mail, the Drop Box located on the front of the Blumfield Township Office, or at the Precinct by 8:00pm on Election Day.
