    Blumfield Township Water is handled by the Blumfield-Reese Water Authority. You may contact them at (989)868-9940.

    Township water bills MUST be paid at the Blumfield-Reese Water Authority at 12810 E. Washington Rd, Reese, MI 48757. Payments made/dropped off at the Blumfield Township Office cannot be accepted.

    The Blumfield-Reese Water Authority meets the third Monday of every month at the Water Office at 12810 E. Washington Rd, Reese, MI 48757. Contact Howard Bernreuter, Don Hausbeck, or Michael Rogers for water information.

  • Cemetery

    The Blumfield Township Cemetery is located on the corner of M15 and M83 and is available to Township residents.

    Cemetery lots are sold individually at $275 per lot for Township residents. Non-Township residents may approach the Board to purchase lots. The cost is $1100 per lot.

    Opening and Closing of Graves: $750 weekdays, $1200 Saturdays before noon, and $1500 Sundays and Holidays. Cremations: $500 weekdays, $800 Saturdays before noon, and $1000 Sundays and Holidays.

  • Trash / Recycle

    Trash Pickup in Blumfield Township occurs on Friday and is provided by Waste Management.

    Trash pickup is unlimited. There is NOT a service for yard waste.

    Recycling collection is every other Friday.

  • Mosquito Control

    The Saginaw County Mosquito Abatement Commission (SCMAC) has been controlling nuisance and disease vectoring mosquitoes since 1977. We provide service to all of Saginaw County's 814 square miles which include: 27 townships, 5 villages, 3 cities, and approximately 200,000 residents. Saginaw County consists of both rural and highly urbanized areas.

    SCMAC utilizes a fully Integrated Mosquito Management (IMM) approach to controlling mosquitoes. This includes disease and mosquito surveillance (Biology), Larva and Adult Control (Field Operations), Source Reduction, and Public Education programs.
